C.A.T.C.H. 84 and American Century Investments partner on Financial Education Classes for 2011

The C.A.T.C.H. 84 Foundation and American Century Investments (ACI) have partnered to host financial education classes for high school student athletes throughout the country.

Last Fall, the two organizations came together as C.A.T.C.H. 84 brought the high school football team at Wyandotte High School (Kansas City) to the headquarters of ACI to not only tour the facility, but also go
through the Yes, You Can courses developed by ACI.

ACI’s Yes, You Can curriculum is aimed at teaching young people about a broad spectrum of financial topics. One of those resources is a curriculum designed for classroom presentation. The curriculum meets national Jump Start Coalition standards for financial education taught in middle and high schools.

We are still in the process of determining the various NFL cities we will be hosting these events but once they are chosen, C.A.T.C.H. 84 will partner will a local player to host the event. ACI will reach out to their financial advisors and find an advisor in that city to teach the classes based on the, Yes, You Can….Raise Financially Aware Kids, book.
